Contraindications That May Prevent You From Being Able To Receive Hydrafacial Treatments:

  • Active acne or infection
  • Open lesion or cold sore
  • An active infection on the treatment area
  • Active sunburn
  • Skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, or rashes
  • An autoimmune disease such as lupus
  • A viral concern such as HIV or hepatitis
  • Anticoagulants Therapy
  • Melanoma or lesions suspected of malignancy
  • Pregnancy or lactation
  • Neurological disorders such as epilepsy (LED Lights)
  • Thyroid conditions (LED Lights)
  • Accutane, topical medications or antibiotics

Please Advise Us If  The Following  Applies To You (Treatment type may need to be altered/the date may need to be postponed):

  • Aesthetic fillers, injectables or laser treatment (Botox: wait 5-7 days; Fillers: wait 7-10 days; Peels: wait 30 days; Laser treatments: wait until lesions heal, swelling and redness is resolved).
  • Allergy to Aspirin
  • Allergy to Shellfish

Things To Avoid For Any Treatment:

  • Avoid using glycolic acid for 24 hours prior to a treatment
  • Avoid using Retinol products for 2 weeks prior to a treatment
